Level 1 Learn basic features of Microsoft’s newest operating system, Windows XP.  This course will include needed terminology for the beginning XP user and definition and use of basic functions of the desktop. You will learn to create, launch and save documents within XP. There will be a brief explanation of basic windows commands and uses. The same manual is used in Mouse 101 and Windows XP Levels 1, 2, & 3. You will learn to create, edit, save, and print a notepad document, copy and move text using the clipboard, and use the calculator to perform basic arithmetic computations.  Also, one of the more popular features of XP, configuration for multiple users, will be covered; this utility provides personalized user environments, creating local users and groups, managing user profiles and personalizing the desktop. And, last but not least, a sneak peek to the World Wide Web, the Internet!
