The primary
difference between the use of PCs today versus 10 years ago is the Internet. In
this class, jump on the Internet bandwagon & navigate your way through the
World Wide Web. Learn how to use a browser and all its components, including but
not limited to basic configuration, extensions, book marking & web
searching. Participants will get the opportunity to have "hands on"
interaction with the Internet. And, of course, there will be plenty of time to
surf! Prerequisites: Basic PC Computer knowledge and knowledge of a
2-button mouse. Manual is included in cost.

Basic Web Site Design

Learn the quick and easy way to build a Web Site on the
Internet. In this version of Web Site design, we will explore the design tool
Front Page. Prerequisites: Mouse 101 and Internet Basics or comparable
experience. * No manual is necessary; handouts will be provided.

is a beginner's course which will teach the very basics of using electronic
mail. Topics of discussion include how to compose a message, send and
receive messages, attach files and pictures to an email message, do group
mailings, set up and use an address book with nicknames as well as using the
more advanced email commands. A free E-Mail address will be created.
(Prerequisites: Mouse 101 or comparable experience.)
