Learn Computer Keyboarding/Typing Skills in Just Eight Weeks 
(8 Hours)

Looking for a job?  Are your typing skills rusty?  Did you buy a computer and have to "hunt and peck"?  If so, then you need to take this class!  In almost any job setting today, you have to have some type of computer skills.  This eight-week (one evening per week) short course will teach you the keyboard, which is the first step in using a computer or typewriter.  The participants will be taught the alphabet and symbols of a keyboard.  Skill building exercises to build speed and confidence will be taught in order to prepare for that important job interview or school assignment.

Introduction to Personal Computers
(3 HOURS)

Computer Phobic?  Terrified of a mouse?  Wondering what a Gigabyte is?  This class is for you!  This class is designed for individuals with no previous computer knowledge and is intended to help the computer novice utilize a new computer by using hands-on learning techniques.  This class is an overview of computers including everything from use of computer terminology, use of a two-button mouse, basic Windows controls, and much more.  Participants will also experiment with Windows  programs and will get a "sneak peek" introduction to the Internet.  A manual on Windows XP is included (same manual used in Windows XP Levels 1, 2 & 3).
