Shutterbug Camp: Learning to Enjoy our World as an Amateur Photographer

Ages 9 & Up

Students, bring your digital, 35 mm or disposable cameras to camp, and learn the basics of good photo composition.  Train your eye and enhance your technique so every photo you snap will be a keeper. Classroom discussion will revolve around good vs. bad photos; then we’re off on a photo shoot around campus!  Digital cameras are preferred so that photos may be reviewed and deleted; however 35 mm and disposable cameras may be used requiring that one roll of film be developed for student/teacher discussion of images.  Facts sheets on posing and shooting the best possible environmental photos will be provided and there will be a minimal amount of portrait work.
