Beginning Conversational Spanish for Adults

Experience the Spanish language and culture and never leave the country!  Begin with basic vocabulary, phrases, and conversational skills, and develop a functional use of Spanish.  Learn to identify people, places, objects, colors, numbers, and professions, and how to ask for information or directions.  This class is designed to be fun as well as instructional.  The instructor uses interaction and written exercises that provide students with opportunities to learn and use the language.  This is an introductory conversational Spanish course.  Please do not expect to acquire a more in-depth knowledge of the entire language.  Those desiring a more formal, in-depth course should register for the series of credit Spanish courses offered by the University.
