Every year, around the 1st of June, ole Judge Biggs has the sheriff arrest everyone in Stump Hollow Swamp and take them to jail on trumped up charges of producing illegal spirits.  The Calhoun gang has always considered it a nice vacation away from the wicked heat of the summer swamp.  Why the jail has big air conditioned cells with indoor plumbing, cable t.v. and free food.  What more could you want?  This year is different however; Maudette, the youngest Calhoun, is about to become an old maid, by the code of the swamp...Not if Big Maude has anything to do with it!!!
